CATALONIA INTERNATIONAL TOURISM SHOW
Barcelona hosts the Catalonia International Tourism Show (SITC), presenting a wide variety of tourism destinations all around the world.
Exhibitors from around 75 different countries and all the Spanish regions are scheduled to appear at the Fira Exhibition Centre in Barcelona to promote their tourism products. Once again, the show will feature Pink Corner, an area aimed specifically at the LGBT audience that was opened in 2008 with resounding success. This edition once again features the area, “Gateway to the Desert”, which showcases the attractions of a number of countries, and particularly those offering desert destinations. Visitors can also take part in a number of prize draws, as well as leisure, cultural and sporting activities.

MALAGA SPANISH FILM FESTIVAL
Since 1998, the city of Malaga in Andalusia has hosted this festival dedicated to showcasing and promoting Spanish film.
Every year the festival includes previously unseen feature-length and short films and documentaries. Malaga is transformed into a centre for debate and a meeting point for figures in the national film industry, as well as showcasing a wide range of productions.
