The objective of the visit was to share with the Travel Trade & Media long term marketing strategies for India post the successful collaboration with the movie “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” and to introduce Mr. Arturo Ortiz the newly appointed Director for Tourism Office of Spain in India.

The Event in Mumbai was held at the Taj Mahal Hotels & Palace on the 22nd of September. H.E met with leaders from the Travel Trade and exchanged ideas and possibilities of working together to establish Spain as a top of the mind holiday destination in India. The Deputy Minister addressed the Media at a press conference along with Maria del Mar Fernadez, the Spanish voice in the song “Senorita” of the movie “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”. Maria Fernadez along with Jesus Carmona put up an electrifying performance of Flamenco music and dancing during the networking dinner organised for the travel trade.

In Delhi the Deputy Minister addressed the Media followed by a networking dinner with the travel trade on the 26th of September at the Le Meridien.
